A reliable alarm app has a strange problem: when it works, nothing happens. You arrive on time and move on. The monthly recap is where all those non-events finally show up — counted, on one card, worth keeping.
Think about what a good meeting alarm actually produces: meetings you joined on second one, appointments you walked into calmly, pickups where someone didn't wait. None of it leaves a trace — the disasters that didn't happen never do. After a good month, all you remember is that nothing went wrong. The recap exists to make that visible: at the start of each month, MeetAlarm hands you a card that says how many times it rang for you, and what those rings were.
What the card counts
- The headline: how many times MeetAlarm rang for you this month.
- First rings of the morning — alarms that went off before 9:00, when a missed ring costs the most.
- Leave-on-time saves — departures computed from live traffic, not guesswork.
- Rings for things that were never on your calendar — manual events you added by hand or by voice.
- The ones you chose to skip — counted as your call, not a failure.
- Your busiest day of the month.
Honest by design
The recap only reports what verifiably happened on your device. It doesn't send notifications nagging you to come look, there's no streak to maintain, and nothing on the card is an upsell. A quiet month gets a quiet card: if only a few alarms rang, the recap tells that one story properly instead of inflating statistics, and a brand-new month simply shows the card taking shape.
Keep it or share it
The card is designed to be worth saving — what you see in the app is exactly what you export. Save it to Photos (MeetAlarm asks for add-only access: it can put this one image in, never read what's there) or send it anywhere through the share sheet. Months stay browsable in the app, so you can flip back through the year.
Computed on your phone, like everything else
The recap is tallied from your own alarm history, on-device, with about a year of months kept. Nothing is uploaded — MeetAlarm has no server to upload to. Delete the app and the history goes with it.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the monthly recap free?
- Yes, fully — no Pro gate, no locked statistics, no upsell on the card. It works the same on the free plan as on Pro.
- Where do I find it?
- Three places: the recap button at the top of the timeline, the summary row at the bottom of the timeline, and Settings. New months appear automatically — no setup.
- Does it send notifications?
- No. The recap never pushes, pings or nags. It waits in the app until you feel like looking.
- What does the “skipped” line mean?
- Alarms you deliberately told MeetAlarm to skip — a cancelled meeting, a day off. The card counts them as decisions you made, because staying in control of what rings is the point.
- Does saving the card need access to my photos?
- Only add-only access: iOS lets MeetAlarm put that one image into your library without being able to see, read or browse anything already in it.
- Is any of this data uploaded?
- No. The tally is computed and stored on your device, with roughly the last 14 months kept. No server, no account, no analytics — the App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
