# MeetAlarm

> MeetAlarm is an iOS app (iOS 26 or later, iPhone-only) that turns calendar
> meetings into real, system-level alarms. Alarms cut through Silent and Focus
> mode via Apple's AlarmKit, ring full-screen on time, and let you join the

## What it does

- Turns calendar events (read via EventKit, read-only) into iOS 26 system
  alarms that must ring — unlike calendar banner notifications, which are
  silenced by Silent and Focus mode.
- One-tap join when the alarm rings. Recognized platforms: Zoom, Google Meet,
  Microsoft Teams, Webex, Tencent Meeting / VooV, Lark / Feishu, DingTalk,
  FaceTime, and phone dial-in (auto-dials and enters the conference code).
- "Leave on time" alarms for in-person meetings: uses live Apple Maps travel
  time plus a buffer to compute when to leave, with one-tap directions (Pro).
- Manual events: a real alarm for one-off moments that aren't on any calendar
  (a pickup, a phoned-in appointment, a deadline) — title + time, done in
  about thirty seconds. Links and locations work on them too, with Apple
  Maps autocomplete when typing a place.
- Add events by voice: say "Add an event in MeetAlarm" and Siri schedules a
  real alarm in seconds — no typing.
- Monthly recap: a free, shareable card of every alarm that rang for you
  this month — first rings of the morning, leave-on-time saves, manual
  events, your busiest day. Generated and stored on-device; can be saved
  to Photos.
- Sync you can trust: the Home Screen widget nudges you when your calendar
  changed and a re-sync is due, and the timeline always shows "Alarms set
  through <date>".
- Live Activity countdown on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island; Home Screen
  widget; Siri & Shortcuts support; dual-time-zone display; two-stage alarms
  and custom alarm sounds (Pro).

## Pricing

- Free forever: real alarms that cut through Silent/Focus, one-tap join on all
  platforms, map directions, widgets, countdowns, one calendar, up to 2
  manual events at a time (all fields included), adjustable default lead
  time, voice creation via Siri, and the monthly recap card.
- Pro (monthly, yearly, or one-time Lifetime purchase via the App Store):
  unlimited calendars, unlimited manual events, per-calendar/per-meeting/
  per-series rules, leave-on-time travel alarms, two-stage alarms, custom
  alarm sounds.

## Privacy

MeetAlarm reads your calendar on-device only to schedule alarms. It operates
no servers, requires no account, and collects no analytics or tracking data.
The only network use is App Store purchases (Apple), in-app map previews,
place autocomplete, and travel-time estimates via Apple Maps. Saving a
monthly recap card uses add-only photo library access (it can only add that
image, never read your photos). Deleting the app deletes all data.
